"This painting of Rainbow was commissioned by a friend. She wanted to capture the most unique aspect of her 'one blue, one green eyed' friend. We tried out a couple of different compositions, finally settling on this close up of his sweet face and extreme detail of those extraordinary irises. He has since passed, but still has a presence in their home with this special tribute to a very unique spirit."
